Crash Cabs take on the classis Marshall style BluesBreaker ext cab. The Bluesdriver is built with 3/4" 9 ply , void Free baltic birch plywood. All Joints are dado, mortised or mortised into place and then TiteBond III glue is applied before wood screws (Not Staples) are installed to secure the joints.
Crash Cabs developed 2 unique construction techniques not used by other manufacturers. They apply a special coating to the exterior of the cab before the tolex is applied and then apply a different coating to the interior of the cab which drastically effects the cab resonance for the better. It is a time consuming and labor intensive process that vastly improves the sound of the cabs over the competion. The Grill cloth is similar to Vintage Marshall style JTM grill cloth. This cab just breaths tone.
