These black anodized hex head cap screws are the perfect mounting head for stamped steel frame speakers, like most guitar speakers.
(Use SMK1 for Cast Frame Speakers)
Large enough to secure the frame yet small enough to not deform paper and cork gaskets.
This kit includes eight #10 - 32 x 1" long Cap Screws and eight Hurricane Nuts.
If you are mounting a pair of small light weight speakers you may consider using 1 kit and use only 4 mounting holes per speaker.
Bolts require a 5/32" Allen Wrench
Pilot hole required for Hurricane nut MUST be ¼” to work correctly.
Note: Hurricane nuts are superior to the old T-Nut design because they stay secure in the wood. Used them exactly like a T-Nut.
